How do I make a booking?

The best thing to do is give us a call.  We can check date availability and help you choose the charter package that suits you and your group best.  Call 0459 159 259 anytime.

What should I bring / wear / prepare ?

Dress for the weather conditions and bring a hat.   Depending on the length of your charter, you may like to bring food and refreshments. Don't forget to bring an esky to take your catch home in!   We have a full working toilet on board, but we recommend you make use of a toilet on shore before depature. 

Are charters ever cancelled due to the weather?

Not often, but sometimes.  If Bluewater Fishing Charters believes the forecast given by BOM is not safe, we will reschedule for another day.  See our T & C's below for more information.

Where do I leave my car?

There is a large carpark at the North Haven boat ramp.  As you enter the boat ramp carpark, there is parking on the left hand side for your cars.  If you park in this area, parking is free.  It is important to note, this carpark is not monitered and we recommend you leave all valuable/personal items at home or bring them onboard with you.

What about kids?

Children are very welcome, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  Children under 12 will be asked to wear a life jacket.  Please chat to our skipper for further information.


Terms and Conditions

Weather Policy

All charters are subject to suitable weather conditions.  Bluewater Fishing Charters moniters several weather forecasts and will notify any affected customers as soon as possible prior to the day of the charter.  Occasionally weather systems develop in ways that are unforseeable, in such events charters may be cancelled or end prematurely at the skipper's discretion.  Our intention is to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for our customers.

Drug & Alcohol Policy

To ensure a safe environment for our staff and our customers we do not tolerate any illicit drug use.  
Any alcohol brought on board by customers is to be consumed in moderation.  The skipper reserves the right to refuse boarding to any paid customer who is deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Cancellation Policy 

We understand that your plans may change.  We offer a full refund of deposits providing you give us at least 5 days notice.  No deposit will be refunded if less than 5 days notice is given or if you don't show up on the day. 

Payment Policy

A deposit of 20% is required to secure a charter date, with the balance required, in full, before the vessel departs.  Payments can be made by EFT or cash on the day.  Please phone for the details required for EFT.
Please note: The person making the booking is responsible for the payment of the entire amount.

Privacy Policy

Any details obtained from our customers, for example, your phone number, email, postal address and/or bank details will only be used for the purpose of the operation of Bluewater Fishing Charters. These details will not be used, sold or released to any other parties.
